About Charles
Charles J. Orlando is a strategy executive, researcher, and author whose work returns to one question across three fields: what stays human as machines take on more of the thinking. As Chief Strategy Officer at Galorath, he leads strategy, AI innovation, and go-to-market for SEERai, an agentic AI platform used for cost, schedule, and risk in regulated defense, aerospace, and government programs. His three decades in enterprise technology include an IPO and six company acquisitions.
Alongside the executive work, he studies how AI reshapes language, learning, and communication. He holds a BA and MA in English from the University of California, Berkeley, and Arizona State University, respectively, and is preparing doctoral research to audit AI-driven language-learning systems, focusing on human-in-the-loop design, bias, and equity. He has written six books on human behavior and relational communication and is a former television host. He currently lives in Madrid, Spain, is working on his memoir, and provides other writers with tools at unwrite.ai.
