What's the long-term plan? Are you just going to date, or is their a full-time, in-person relationship ahead of you? Nothing is a "bad answer", per se... so long as both of you are on the same page as to what is coming in the future. If you both are headed to the same place, it will not only keep you emotionally intimate, but it will make things calmer and more focused when you aren't physically in the same place.
